DAS Antenna

DAS Antenna

Standard

Designed for indoor 5G/LTE infrastructure, this ceiling-mounted DAS (Distributed Antenna System) antenna integrates four bands — 1.7, 2.1, 3.7, and 4.7 GHz — and both horizontal and vertical polarization into a single six-port housing.

One unit replaces the multiple antennas that were previously installed separately for each band and polarization. Fewer antennas on the ceiling mean less installation work and less visual clutter.

The pattern spreads diagonally downward from high ceilings while staying omnidirectional in the horizontal plane. Dual polarization helps maintain more consistent signal levels as users tilt and turn their devices, so quality stays consistent across the space.

Developed around the Japanese band plan, this is a standard product. Housing, port configuration, and frequency bands can be custom-designed to suit your site and system architecture. For requirements outside the Japanese band plan, please contact us.

Features

1. A "6-in-1" Design: Four Bands × Dual Polarization in One Unit

The antenna covers four bands — the 1.7/2.1 GHz range and the 3.7/4.7 GHz range — with both horizontal and vertical polarization for each, consolidated into a single housing with six ports. Because one unit handles multiple bands and multiple polarizations, you can reduce the number of antennas mounted on the ceiling, improving installation efficiency while reducing visual impact.

2. Dual Polarization Evens Out Received Signal Levels

A mobile device changes orientation constantly — upright, sideways, or at an angle — depending on how the user holds it, and its antenna orientation changes with it. Because this antenna supports both horizontal and vertical polarization, it accommodates changes in device orientation and helps suppress drops in received signal level caused by polarization mismatch. The result is less variation in communication quality across an indoor space and more consistent real-world performance for your users.

3. A Radiation Pattern That Spreads Diagonally Downward from High Ceilings

Designed for ceiling installation, the antenna radiates diagonally downward over a wide area. Omnidirectional coverage is maintained in the horizontal plane, so the antenna covers not only the area directly beneath it but also areas farther from the antenna and along walls. Even in high-ceilinged commercial facilities, warehouses, and railway stations, you can build out an entire coverage area with fewer units.

4. Designed and Verified with EM Simulation and Our In-House Anechoic Chamber

We combine electromagnetic simulation with radiation pattern measurements in our in-house anechoic chamber to verify VSWR, gain, and horizontal-plane omnidirectionality across all ports. On request, we can also propose a custom design tailored to your required band configuration and coverage area.

Applications

Office buildings, commercial facilities and shopping malls, underground shopping arcades and parking garages, airports and railway stations, stadiums and arenas, hotels, hospitals, factories and logistics warehouses, private 5G base stations, and more.
